Review: (I received this novel from the author for an honest review.)
Let me begin by saying I love Merrick. I have loved him from the moment I met him in Running from Forever. Throughout that novel I thought Miles was a tool and Kayla should have been with Merrick. However, it became clear that Merrick and Kayla were better as friends and that ended up being great for ME. Why? Because the author was able to continue Merrick's story in Permanent Lines.
I have to admit when I read Merrick's note to the reader at the beginning I was a bit nervous. Let me just say Merrick is 100% honest in that opening paragraph. At the beginning he does act like a pansy, but he redeems himself in the end.
What I have found with Ashley Wilcox novels is they are easy reads. Her novels are the perfect book to lost yourself in for a couple of hours in search of a HEA. They are not heavy or traumatic. You could easily read one in one sitting. This is not a bad thing either. Sometimes you need a quick pick me up.
So go on... get lost in Merrick's story. You will be glad you did!
