Review: (I received this novel from the author for an honest review.)
When Dax moved in with one of his best friends her didn't know a goddess would be living next b=door. Charlee took his breath away the moment her laid eyes on her. But Dax wasn't the only one affected, Charlee also found Dax irresistible. He consumed her every thought from the moment she saw his broad shoulder moving boxes from the bed of a truck.
Quickly, Dax and Charlee are wrapped up in each other. Completely, infatuated with one another and maybe a little in love. But they are too young to recognize the difference. Soon life and living in the real world of responsibilities becomes too much and places unneeded stress on their relationship. Dax and Charlee need to decide if their emotions are strong enough to weather the storm or if their relationship will buckle under the stress.
I liked the overall concept of this book. I enjoy a good angst filled story. The one thing I had trouble with was the time line. The story began at normal pace moving a few days at a time. However, that quickly accelerates. Days quickly turn to weeks and then to months. This fast paced left spots that felt a little disjointed.
Check out Forever and Almost Always and join Dax and Charlee on their journey.
Happy reading!!

Teaser:
Dax
“I honestly, never thought you loved me that much. I always thought I loved you more.”
It was literally killing me to talk to her about all of this. I knew deep down, it was a good thing, to get it all out in the open and be over it, but a part of me knew it would only make saying good bye, harder. “Honestly Charlee, I felt more strongly than I led on. It was hard for me when you left. I would love more than anything to see you, but if we were to meet up, it would literally wreck her. She knows the love I felt for you, and she feels like she will never be able to live up to that. And, I’m not sure that I could see you without having feelings get involved.”
