Zara Edgingway is a twenty-six-year-old secretary. She has a daughter that apparently knows-it-all and a best friend that could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk'a'licious biker neighbour finally showing interest in her.
If only she isn't about to face her next obstacle in life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex husband.

Gah! I love bikers! Especially hot alpha bikers and Talon fits this role perfectly. Holding Out is sultry and suspenseful. I loved every second. I really enjoyed the relationship between the characters. BUT before I get into that let's talk plot.
Zara is a single mother who has escaped a painful past. Day by day she has put her life back together. One step at a time she puts her history behind her and moves forward, that is until he past comes back to haunt her.
Talon is the leader of a local MC, the Hawks, who's compound just so happens to be across the street from Zara's home. For a couple of years Talon has watched Sara, but he never acted in his desires until one day when he could no longer resist.
Claiming Zara has his with a lustful kiss, Talon will stop at nothing to save her from the darkness that approaches. Can Zara put her insecurities aside and accept Talon's new role in her life? Or will she resist and hide once more?
Ok, so back to the characters interactions. Not only did I love Zara and Talon, but the supporting cast was amazing. I really enjoyed Julian's comic relief. While Deanna brought a little extra edge. I was especially excited to see that some of these other characters would be getting their own time to shine in spin off novels.
If you are looking for a hit biker, look no further. Holding On is the book for you.
Happy reading!!
