Goodreads: Click here

Synopsis:  Eight months.

That’s how long it’s been since Eliza last saw Gage and they both feel as if they don’t deserve one another’s forgiveness. He screwed up. She walked away without looking back. They’ll try and make up all the time they’ve lost with one another, that is until they’re facing the choices of either going their separate ways, or hanging on and fighting for dear life.

The fights will be endless. They heartache will be real. The demons will return, and they won’t back down without a fight.

There are some who will do anything to keep true love apart, and those same people will dig deep into their demonic ways until Eliza and Gage are literally no more.

Can Eliza and Gage overcome it all? Will they be able to face the true demons that are seeking to destroy them? Or will they just forget about everything they’ve worked so hard for and go their separate ways?

Sometimes you have to go through struggles in order to reach an ultimate point of peace… but will their struggle be worth it?

Review:  Oh Gage!!  How I love thee.  Have you noticed that the biggest men are really big softies on the inside?  Gage is no exception.

At the end of Who He Is Ellie left Gage heartbroken.  No, that is too nice.  She left him in that parking lot completely shattered.  Ellie thought it was for the best.  Gage had big dreams, but Ellie had her own equally bright future.  She didn't see how the two could coexist.

Several months have past since she last saw Gage, but that doesn't mean Ellie has stopped thinking of him.  Having to visit her father, Ben, Ellie knows she will once again have to see Gage.  Just being in the same building as him causes the sparks to fly, both good and bad.  Time may have passed, but emotions are still running high.  Their connection is as strong as ever.

Reuniting with Gage is not without drama and complications.  Is Ellie ready to make space in her plans for Gage?  Will Gage quote playing games and free himself from the distractions?  Can he be the man Ellie needs?

The author once again delivered.  My emotions were all over the place.  I laughed.  I cried.  I was mad and sad.  Wow.  I enjoyed the fact that Ellie knew what she wanted and refused to back down.  I loved that when push came to shove.  Ellie and Gage were there for each other.  I did feel that the last part of the books was rushed.  It a few points I had to flip back a few pages because I thought I missed something.

The author did a wonderful job strengthening the supporting cast.  Kelsey was exactly what Ellie needed.  Ellie needed a friend she could turn to and she found that connection in Kelsey.  I am thrilled that Roy will be receiving his very own book.  I enjoyed his development over these two novels.  I look forward to reading about the mystery behind the man.

Happy Reading!!
