Review:   4 stars
Kimber is a young woman living in a small Texas town.  She had big dreams of fleeing that tiny God forsaken place, but life doesn't always turn out they way we plan.  Taking care of her ailing mother has left Kimber struggling through pure exhaustion day in and day out trying to make ends meet, all while trying to put herself through college part time.  Kimber barely has time to sleep, let alone time for herself.  Forcing her own desires aside she focuses on taking care of her responsibilities.

Jordan is from an affluent Texas family.  Born and raised in Dallas he hasn't experienced a life of want.  His life has been mapped out for him, right down to the gender of his future children.  All is going according to plan until he is blindsided with the death of the love of his life, Susan.  Struggling to regain his footing, Jordan leaves Dallas trying to find some peace.  Wandering into a small town outside of the city he thinks he may have found the quiet sanctuary he is looking for.  Little does he know, he will find much more that.  There in that rural town he will find his life.

Feeling This is the story of two broken individuals finding hope and a sense of completeness in each other.

When I began this book, I have to admit, I struggled a little.  The first few chapters were slightly disjointed.  I had a hard time keeping the two time lines together.  Jordan's first few chapters were told over a much shorter time frame than Kimber's.  However, once the two threads of the story wove together the story was sweet.  I enjoyed Jordan's kindness and humility.  He never rubbed his wealth in the faces of those aroud him.  Instead he tried hiding his upbringing in order to prove himself.  I liked Kimber's strength.  Taking care of an ill loved one is never easy.  It is tiring and trying.  Even the most selfless individual struggles with the enormous weight of watching the health of someone you love deline before your eyes.  Kimder never gave up despite all of the odds stacked against her.  The supporting cast, Derek, Jenna, and the Bruins, were a nice addition.  And what would a the word be without a wild and loud mouth friend like Heidi?

I enjoyed the sweet story of Kimber and Jordan.  Go out and get lost in their stroy today!

Happy reading!!
