Review: Have you ever done something in your life that you regretted wholeheartedly? Something so humiliating that you wanted to curl up in a dark hole and hide away from the world? Well that is exactly how Avery feels. In the past she made some terrible decisions and she lives with the the fear that everyone around will some day find out. Hoping to escape the past she flees and tries to start over in college.
Enter Jase, the mind-numbingly gorgeous guy looking for his own escape. Drawn to Avery he immediately recognizes her wounded soul. Appointing himself as Avery's life couch he sets out to help break her out of her shell. What he hadn't prepared himself for was the way in which she would save him.
I loved watching the relationship develop between Avery and Jase. I enjoyed Jase's softer side as he helps Avery come back to life. I thought this was a wonderfully written NA novel.
