She is seeking escape.

Together, they have the chance to become complete.

Flynn and Rowan’s worlds exist miles apart, but when a chance meeting brings them together, neither of them can deny the instant pull that connects them to each other. What starts as a tiny spark eventually flares into a fire so hot, it refuses to be extinguished.

For it to work, both of them will need to jump feet first into the flames to see where it takes them, despite the risk of being burned.

Review:

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Let me start off by saying that I really enjoyed this book! It had a great story line that really kept me interested in reading.
Flynn Caldwell, the hot, built, sexy as sin fireman, with a bit of a hero complex. We learn early on that he became a firefighter due to the loss of his first love in a house fire. Of course, having a hero complex, he insist on helping the “broken”, which is how Rowan fell into his life.
Rowan Page did not have an easy start to this life. Being in her early twenties, she has had to learn to live on her own and only depend on herself. Unfortunately, this means falling into the wrong paths of life and having no trust anyone.
Having found Rowan drugged and chained to the bed while the house is on fire, with the help of her “fleabag” Capone, a Bernese Mountain Dog, he comes to her rescue in more way than one. After being released from the hospital, he insists that she let him help her she can get back on her feet.
The friendship that these two build is something that Rowan has never had before, and she is not willing to risk it for anything. Despite the sexual tension that is between them. Rowan and Flynn begin to share their deepest secrets with each other and Flynn is determined one way or another to make her see the love they truly have for each other.
Seeing the relationship and trust grow between these characters was great to read. I enjoyed their story and I’m very happy with how everything played out. No matter the insecurities they may have had, they stuck through it and grew the relationship that neither thought they were looking for.
Plus, Flynn is a fireman…who doesn’t love hot, built, firemen? I am very glad that I had the chance to review this book. I hope to read more!
          Happy Reading!!
